Flags Of Our FathersFilm: Flags of Our Fathers
Starring : Ryan Phillippe, Jesse Bradford,Adam Beach, Paul Walker, Jamie Bell, Barry Pepper, John B.Hickey
Director: Clint Eastwood.

This is a movie produced by Steven Spielberg, set in February 1945, in the Pacific Ocean, where the war raged on, despite the movement towards peace in Europe. One of the bloodiest battles was the struggle for the island of Iwo Jima, where the American casualties became heavier by the day.

But the braves fought on valiantly, despite the unfamiliar terrain with the beach and the sea behind them and a sheer rock climb ahead, from where the enemy was at a vantage point.

Gossip - What is the latest? It’s around 9.30 in the morning. I’m in the process of settling down to face another new day in the office when the phone on my table rings. Even before my fingers can pluck the receiver from its cradle, I know just who is calling. It’s Kavita, now a good friend, but her origins can otherwise be traced to family connections.

She is easily the most informed member in the family. Having nothing meaningful to do once the morning schedule of cooking and packing her husband’s lunchbox is taken care of, she turns with a certain vigilant determination and relish to a skill, which she has honed to a nicety.

The Four AgreementsWe are all creatures of habit, operating by a belief system that we never chose to believe in the first place. Our belief system is like a Book of Law that rules our mind. Often these beliefs may not all be empowering but adhering to them makes us feel safe. Besides, we unwittingly agreed to all of them, bound by our own agreement of fear.

The biggest fear that drives us is not the fear of death but taking the risk to be alive.
We’re constantly trying to measure up to other people’s views and expectations of us. Our perception of perfection is based on this input and we find we cannot forgive ourselves for not being perfect. So we pretend to be that, which we are not.
