Your wedding is just a few weeks or months away and you’re looking for some kind of instant remedies that will aid you look your best on your big day. Though there is absolutely no doubt that every woman looks her very best on this day but a little extra care can help to make you look sensational.
Though it is a joyous occasion one can hardly say that it is a stress free occasion for either the bride or the bride-groom. Missed meals and lack of sleep are common. All this has an impact on the appearance of the skin and hair. So, here are some simple, easy to follow, time tested and tried ways of getting gorgeous skin and hair within a short span of time.
The first thing to remember is to keep the skin clean. Therefore, it is essential to wash the face often and pat it dry using a thin wash cloth. When washing the face one must use a mils face wash. As washing using plain water may lead to further drying out. Coconut oil is a fantastic cleanser cum moisturizer. So, massaging your face with coconut oil and then wiping the oil off using a wet cotton ball will keep it glowing and shiny. A basic routine of cleansing, toning and moisturizing is the basic rule to follow.
To remove blemishes on your skin use potato juice. Rub on the juice and keep it on for sometime before washing it off.
Take half a tea spoon of saffron powder. Mix it up with a teaspoon of fullers’ earth. Make a smooth paste using rose water. Wash the face using luke warm water. Pat dry. Now apply the mixture using upward strokes. Lat the pack dry on your face. Wash off after about fifteen minutes using cold water. Do this regularly for about a week (at least) to see the results.
Here is another skin pack that yields almost instant impact. Mix together a teaspoon of spirulina powder along with a few drops of sandalwood oil and rose water, Apply on the face and let dry. Wash off using cold water.
Sleeplessness will cause dark circles to appear under the eye. One simple way of getting rid of these is to apply a paste made of almonds soaked in milk overnight and ground.
Last but not least here are some tips for giving your crowning glory a shining makeover at short notice. Make a paste of sambar onions. Mix it with egg whites. Apply this mixture on your scalp. Leave it on for a couple of hours before washing it off with a mild shampoo.
No matter what you do there is no substitute for rest and routine.
