For a Wonderful Honeymoon Trip
0 Comments Published by Newsroom April 4th, 2009 in Couples, TravelEMail This Post
Many people say that married life can’t be one continuous honeymoon and they’re right. However, you can begin your married life with one magical honeymoon trip. Done right, this trip can set the tone for the whole of your married life. Following is a simple guide to planning your honeymoon.
Think of Your Activities
Your honeymoon trip can’t help but be an unmitigated success if you put great consideration on what you and your partner would like to do while on it. Are you fond of snorkeling, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, surfing, swimming, rafting, and such water activities? How about bird watching, hiking, camping, mountain climbing, and skiing? Maybe you’d like to do something mild like shopping, sightseeing, bar hopping, and clubbing? Before you embark on your honeymoon, you and your partner should discuss what activities you’d have most fun doing. Do not settle for something you would not enjoy because your partner would, and vice versa.

For 10,000 years, people journeyed to Suttle Lake in Central Oregon to be inspired by its beauty and tranquillity. Today, they also take that trek to enjoy a series of holiday and winter events at the Lodge at the Lake. The Lodge is a great place to escape for the holidays while not worrying about cooking.
Holiday dining includes a Thanksgiving Feast, Christmas Eve Dinner, Christmas Day Feast and their New Year’s Eve extravaganza. Their New Year’s Eve celebration is a black-tie affair that includes live music, casino night and a midnight toast. They also offers a number of other winter-time retreats such as lakeside snowshoeing, the Festival of Lights, and the indulgent after-dinner cigars and cognac by the fire.

The first temple in America started off as a small house where daily worship and pujas were conducted by volunteer priests. This house in Queens, New York was part of the property acquired by the Hindu Temple Society of North America, a non-profit organization founded on 26th January 1970. Why New York? Mainly because of the large population of Indians in New York and the adjoining states. Also New York is a major entry point to the U.S.
In 1977 the Maha Vallabha Ganapati Devasthanam was built by craftsmen from India using imported materials. It is built in accordance with the agama shastras and 26 yantras were installed by Sri La Sri Padrimalai Swamigal. The temple celebrated its 30th anniversary in July 2007. The Sudarshana Maha Yagnam was conducted to mark this milestone.

As the islands are not the most expensive in the Caribbean, one can travel in style and easily afford it. Everyone talks about a Caribbean cruise when it comes to a well-deserved break. But, seldom do people realize that there’s more to the West Indies than just cruises. One cannot find a vacation that spells more diversity than a visit to Trinidad and Tobago – the twin islands, located at the end of the southeastern boundary of the Caribbean.
While ‘little sister’ Tobago is relaxed, slow moving, and quite under-developed, Trinidad is thickly populated, boasts of a thriving economy, has a large cosmopolitan population and the wildest Carnival in the Caribbean. Both have their share of pristine beaches, though Tobago features casual seaside hotels, calm reefs, and a laid-back atmosphere.
Lucerne
The quiet beautiful town of Lucerne sits on the western edge of Lake Lucerne. The River Reuss runs through it, as it has done for the last 1,000 odd years. Lucerne is quintessential Switzerland, antiseptically clean, picture postcard pretty, poised, elegant, self-possessed. It is a city that has managed to balance the mediaeval past with the post-modern present. It gives you the chance to lark it up on the lake and a moment to swan down to a chic restaurant. Lucerne is what you make of it. What will you make of it?
