Planning a Pocket-friendly Honeymoon

It’s the part of the wedding many brides look forward to most–the honeymoon! But what is it really going to cost?
For most couples, the wedding ceremony, reception, and honeymoon create three of the biggest pieces of the matrimonial pie. When calculating your honeymoon budget, you’ll be planning on much more than a hotel room and rental car. When you approach your honeymoon budget, consider the following factors:
Before the Honeymoon
Your honeymoon destination will play an important role regarding the costs associated with newlywed bliss. If you’re traveling out of the country, passport fees can run you into the hundreds. Expediting the process will cost you an extra dollars per each passport. If you use a travel agent to book your honeymoon, make room for their fees. Many couples book online to save on the cost of travel arrangements. If you own a pet, make an allowance for kennel fees if you don’t have a sitter.

Consider one of these honeymoon destinations that take the concept of “exotic” to a new level.
If you’re looking for something more adventurous than a Caribbean cruise or a trip to Hawaii or Mexico, consider one of these honeymoon destinations that take the concept of “exotic” to a new level. Naturally, you’ll have to do your homework to find the perfect fit for you and your new spouse, and careful planning is crucial. Still, couples rave about these out-of-the-way places, and a honeymoon at any one of the following ten locations will provide memories to last a lifetime.
1. Belize. From sunset cruises to caving, rappelling, kayaking and exploring Mayan ruins, you’ll find plenty to do in this Central American nation, which CNN dubbed an “up-and-coming” destination for newlyweds. Belize is also a haven for birders, eco-travelers and snorkelers, with both jungle and beachside accommodations available. Book an all-inclusive package on the shore of the Caribbean, or add an excursion into the rainforest to get a feel for the diversity of wildlife.

When you opt for a glamorous honeymoon, you probably don’t have a lot of budget constraints. It means you are looking for plush accommodations, chic shops, fabulous restaurants, hip nightclubs, and maybe a few celebrities who have chosen the same destination. Here are seven top glamour spots in the U.S.A.
Aspen, Colorado
Aspen has long been famous as a place to see and be seen. Sure, you can find a few reasonably priced accommodations here, but if you really want glamorous ambience, book a room at the St. Regis Resort, the Little Nell, or Aspen’s exclusive hotel, the Sky. Take advantage of the upscale shopping offered in town, and check out popular events like the annual Aspen Celebrity Downhill Weekend (February), when the stars come out to ski; the Food & Wine Magazine Classic (June), featuring some of America’s brightest chefs in a festival of cooking, food sampling, and wine tasting; the famed Aspen Music Festival (June); and the Aspen Filmfest (September), which gives a nod to independent films and honors a distinguished artist.
Destination Honeymoon - Khajuraho

As far as honeymoon destinations go, Khajuraho was probably created with newly-weds in mind.
A long time from now, Indians had created an unique honeymoon destination. A place, far away from everywhere, full of celebration of the sensual and awe for the divine who makes all those marriages.
As places go Khajuraho seems to be wrapped in a time wrap. There is little else to intrigue you except each other and the temples. No crowded streets to distract you, no shopping malls and no horse rides for couples. A main road that links you to the temples, an airport, a few hotels, restaurants, shops and of course the famous temples are all that there are for a couple to occupy themselves. At the time when you are just escaping the hustle and bustle of the wedding and learning to know each other, the location couldn’t be better.
Think of the world as your oasis. The world conspires for honeymooners. Every country in the world has options for the tight budgeted as well as the deep pocketed. In terms of popularity, the current top 5 honeymoon destinations are:
Hawaii
Mexico
Jamaica
Tahiti
Bermuda
It seems like almost everyone prefers the beach to the mountains. Also, the sun seems popular! (Why am I not surprised? I am a sun girl myself) If you want to idiot-proof your honeymoon and choose one of these five options
