Weight LossThe big day will be here before you know it. Be sure you feel you’re best with these four weight loss tips.

Wedding weight loss is a common concern for brides-to-be, as they wonder how in the world they’re going to fit into the dress of their dreams. Whether you’re a fast-paced executive, laid-back entrepreneur, or a stressed-out grad student, the following wedding weight loss tips could prove quite beneficial for any schedule:

1) Drink Water

I know you’ve heard that drinking at least eight glasses of water can lead to a glowing complexion and improved digestion, but boy…isn’t it hard? Counting the amount of water you drink on a daily basis can become rather tiresome. However, it will pay off in the long run with faded dark circles under your eyes, flushed body fat, and a decreased appetite. In order to meet your recommended quota:

• Keep a bottle of water beside your bed – drink ½ of it before you go to bed and finish the rest as soon as you wake up.

• Carry a bottle of water around with you and sip it throughout the day.

• Before each meal, drink ½ to 1 bottle of water.

WalkingMy Grandpa lived a healthy 89 years, he was a football player and had worked with the Indian Railways. Even when he was 80 plus he would hit the road? walk from home to the secretariat almost fifteen kms up and down to collect his pension. No, I am not writing my autobiography, it is just a comparison of the kind of lifestyle then and now. It is totally insane to walk so much today just that how many of us would even actually walk it to the shop down the street. We would probably waste a lot of time searching for the keys than to consider walking.

AlmondsOne can easily mistake her to be in her late 50s at the most. But I know that she is touching 70. Awesome really. With her long black hair woven into a shining knot, she looks healthy, charming and youthful even with the streak of grey that graces her temples. Her skin has a natural glow that could not have come out of a bottle promising eternal youth. Much of her beauty emanates of course from within, but there is a skin and beauty regimen that Vyjayanti has assiduously followed over the years.

Waking up at 5.30 in the morning, she sticks to a strict pattern of two glasses of water, followed by coffee, the trigger she needs to spring to life, after which she heads to the bathroom for her morning ablutions. Fifteen minutes later, Vyjayanti takes off for a 20 minute brisk walk into the nearby park from where she returns to do her Buddhist prayers, a time of deep focus and reflection for her.
